According to the latest buzz in the entertainment industry, Samantha is presently in talks with Netflix for a trilingual web series. The OTT giant has offered to pay Rangasthalam and U turn fame actress fatty paycheck if she is ready to sign the project.
Samantha’ web series is said to be made on a big budget. Nothing much is revealed regarding who will be the director and the remaining cast and crew. The sources say that Samantha Akkineni is excited about it and she will give the final nod only if she likes the final draft of the script. The web series will be a trilingual series that will be in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
On the work front, Samantha Akkineni will be seen playing a mythological role in the historical drama Shakunthalam, under the direction of Gunasekar, in which she is playing the titular role. She will also be seen in an upcoming Tamil film Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
