Samantha Akkineni is going great guns in her professional space with back to back hits at the box-office. Though her previous offering Jaanu, the remake of Tamil film 96, was just average but she received a lot of appreciation for her performance.
Samantha Akkineni is one among the few divas in South cinema to charge over one crore for a film. Kollywood bombshell Nayantara tops the list as she reportedly charges Rs 5 crore for a film. Now according to the latest buzz, Samantha has hiked her remuneration.
The sources say that recently when the makers of her one of the recent movies offered her a new project, Majili girl has shocked them with a remuneration demand. Samantha is said to have asked for Rs 3.5 crores outright remuneration. Though the producers were ready to offer share in profits, but she demanded a fatty pay cheque.
However, few sources revealed that Samantha Akkineni wants to scare out those producers as she didn’t like the story and that is the main reason she is quoting nigh remuneration. Meanwhile Samantha is spending most of the time with Naga Chaitanya. She is also taking cooking classes from Sridevi Jasti and is growing some green veggies. She will be seen in web series The Family Man 2 starring Manoj Bajpayee and Priyamani.
