It is known news that Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his home in Bandra on 14th June this year. The police said it was death by suicide. According to the latest update, noted film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be interrogated over two of his movies- ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani‘ – which apparently was first offered to actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is popular for making blockbuster movies like Padmaavat and Ram-Leela. Now he will be asked about allegations that Sushant was battling depression as he had been forced to drop out of his movies because of a contract he had signed with Yash Raj Films.
And, because of which, his relations with Yash Raj Films turned sour. Hence, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be questioned over these past developments and also if Sushant Singh Rajput was under any pressure by Yash Raj Films.
The Mumbai police have already interrogated YRF’ casting director Shanoo Sharma last week. Sushant Singh Rajput had starred in two films – ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ and ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’ – under the banner of YRF. Popular Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has also been called for interrogation over his statement. Shekhar Kapur had cast Sushant in his film ‘Paani’. However, the project Paani got delayed.
