Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru which hit screens on 11th January, has set the small screen on fire and bagged TRP of 17.4 for its second time telecast. The film which has Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role, is on record breaking spree on small screen as well.
While the film broke all-time record for any Telugu movie with a TRP of 23.4 for its premiere during Ugadi festival and beat SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Baahubali 2: The conclusion (22.7). And this time Sarileru Neekevvaru earned 17.4 TRP for its second time telecast in Gemini TV.
Sarileru Neekevvaru marked the first collaboration between Mahesh Babu and the F2 director Anil Ravipudi, did well at the box office despite releasing a day before the Stylish star Allu Arjun starrer action and romantic movie Ala Vaikunthapurramloo.
In Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu essayed the role of Major Ajay Krishna. ‘Kodava Beauty’ Rashmika Mandanna grabbed plenty of attention with her glam avatar and this worked wonders for her career in the film industry. Sarileru Neekevvaru had an impressive supporting cast that included ‘Lady Amitabh’ Vijayashanti, Prakash Raj and ‘Milky Beauty’ Tamannah Bhatia. Now Mahesh Babu is going to work with Parasuram for upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
