Sarkar Collections: The political drama Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss in which Vijay and Keerthy Suresh, are playing the lead role, is running successfully at the box office. According to the traders report, Sarkar has collected Rs 5.90 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telanagna after the successful run of 4 days.

Sarkar is bankrolled by Sun Pictures whereas the film has the music by double Oscar award winning music composer AR Rahman. Varamlakshmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi are playing the supporting roles. The Vijay starrer Sarkar is one of the biggest Tamil releases of the year as it was released on 3000 screens across the globe.
Sarkar has already joined the club of Rs 100 Cr marks. Sarkar is the sixth movie of Vijay (after Puli, Bairavaa, Kaththi, Thuppakki, Theri and Mersal), which has joined the club of Rs 100 Cr marks. He is now surpassed the record of Rajinikanth (Sivaji, Lingaa, Kaala, Kabali and Endhiran), who has 5 Rs 100 Cr to his credit.
