According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja will be seen playing the role of cop in upcoming Telugu remake of Vikram Vedha, which will be helmed by Sudheer Varma. It has also come out that the makers have also locked he second lead actor and he is none other than Kartikeya who made his debut with Ajay Bhupathi’ directorial venture RX 100. Kartikeya is playing villain in Natural star Nani and Vikram K Kumar’ film Gang Leader.
Recently during the media interaction, Kartikeya opened up about his role in Gang Leader and said, “I will be seen in out and out negative role. My role in Gang Leader is scary. I am essaying a formula racer.”
Pre production work of Vikram Vedha starring Ravi Teja and Kartikeya, has been started. The sources say that Kartikeya has been roped in to play the other lead role which was played by Vijay Sethupathi in the original. However, Kartikeya is yet to give his green signal for the film since his calendar is full with other assignments.
Vikram Vedha had R Madhavan playing the ruthless cop while Vijay Sethupathi played the menacing gangster. According to Tamil movie lovers, that it will be difficult to replicate the theme of the film in other languages.
On the other side, Ravi Teja is currently busy in Disco Raja whereas Kartikeya is waiting for the release of Gang Leader.
