Story: Karthik(Gopichand) coaches the women’s Kabaddi team in Andhra Pradesh and he takes the team to Delhi for the national Kabaddi championship but  the entire team gets kidnapped.  What happens next? Who is behind this kidnapping?  How does Karthik solve the mystery? Who is Jwala Reddy(Tamannah)?  To get these answers, one should watch the movie on silver screen.

 Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • Story
  • Gopichand
  • Tamannah Bhatia
  • First half
  • Cinematography

 Minus Points:

  • Few scenes in second half
  • Less entertainment

Performance:   Gopichand has given his best in the role of Karthik  and he fits the bill perfectly. He  steals the show in the emotional scenes  and emotes with his eyes. Tamannah Bhatia as coach of the Telangana Kabaddi team, is good and she looks cute in the role.  Rahman as a cop is excellent.   Tarun Arora as the main villain is fine. Rest of the star cast including Bhumika Chawala and Digangana Suryavanshi do well within their limitations.  All the girls of the Kabbadi team perform well.

Technical:  The cinematograph work of Seetimaarr is pretty good. The Kabaddi matches and action blocks have been showcased quite well. The background score, composed by Mani Sharma is one of the major highlights. The background score uplifts the kabbadi match portions to keep  the audiences glued to the screen.  The dialogues are good. Every frame is rich and fabulous. The  Production values of this film are rich. Coming to the work of director Sampath Nandi, he has done a good job with the film  Seetimaarr. There are a few predictable scenes in this film  and the storyline is interesting.

Analysis:  Overall Seetimaarr is a sports drama with an action backdrop.
