The creative and talented film maker Shankar’s son-in-law and a cricket team captain Rohit was booked in connection to a case of s*xually harassment of a 16 years old girl. Rohit, his father Damodaren, the cricket club president, and three others were named by the girl. The girl reported s*xual harassment by coach Thamaraikannan (coach of Siechem Madurai Panthers in the Tamil Nadu Premier League) to the management, but dissatisfied with the action, she reached to the Puducherry Child Welfare Committee.
Rohit Damodaran has been booked under the Protection of Children from S*xual Offences Act at Mettupalyam police station in connection with the s*xual harassment of a teen. The girll, who had gone for cricket coaching, was s*xually harassed by the suspects.
The sources say that PCWC registered a case at the Mettupalyam police station against Siechem Madurai Panthers cricket club president Damodaran and his son Rohit, secretary Venkat and coaches Thamaraikannan and Jeyakumar. The police are yet to arrest the accused.
Shankar’ eldest daughter Aishwarya tied the knot with Rohit Damodaran in Chennai in June this year. The wedding was attended by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.
Shankar’ son in law Rohit Damodaran is the son of industrialist Damodaran, owner of the Madurai Panthers cricket team in TNPL.
