In an interview, Shanmukh‘s parents responded to questions about when Shanmukh Deepti Sunaina would be married. Shanmukh’s parents said that they knew about Deepti’s love only after seeing it on TV and did not know about their love in advance.Shanmukh’s parents said that they did not say that they love Deepti, but that they both went to TV shows and saw tattoos and were in love.
Shanmukh’s parents have said that they have no objection to Shanmukh’s marriage to Deepti if they like Shanmukh but they will only agree if Deepti Sunaina’s parents agree.
