Ajay Bhupathi who worked as an AD to Veeru Potla and Ram Gopal Varma before fulfilling his directorial dream with RX 100, is now coming up with his upcoming directorial venture Maha Samudram. It is known news that Sharwanand has given his nod to Ajay Bhupathi for this film. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Samantha Akkineni will be seen playing the female lead and she will share the screen space with Sharwanand once again in Ajay Bhupathi’s directorial venture Maha Samudram. The sources say that Maha Samudram is all about the story of two friends. Sharwanand will be playing a gangster in the film Maha Samudram.
In Ajay Bhupathi’s directorial venture, Maha is the name of the female lead whereas Samudram refers to the water body in Vishakapatnam. Sharwanand will be seen playing the role of a gangster in this film Maha Samudram. He has already essayed a similar role in Satya 2 and in Ranarangam. Now once again he is all set to make his screen presence in the role of a gangster.
Initially, there were reports that Naga Chaitanya would play the protagonist but later it’s said that Ravi Teja was finalized. However, the cryptic tweet of the director referring to someone as ‘Cheap Star’ created quite a noise among the industry circles. Now Sharwanand is on the board to play the lead role.
The sources say that Sharwanand was totally impressed with Ajay Bhupathi’s narration and suggested no changes to the script. The film might go on floors once Sharwa is done with his present commitments.
On the other side, Sharwanand will be seen in Jaanu, the remake of Tamil movie 96, in which he is sharing the screen space with Samantha Akkineni. The movie is directed by Prem Kumar and is bankrolled by Dil Raju. If everything will go accordingly once again Samantha will be seen with Sharwanand in Ajay Bhupathi’ Maha Samudram.
