Yesteryear heroine Vijayashanti made her comeback in acting field with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru, directed by F2: Fun and Frustration fame Anil Ravipudi. In past, Mahesh Babu and lady Amitabh Vijayashanti have worked together in action drama Koduku Diddina Kapuram in which Krishna Ghattamaneni played the protagonist. But after the release of Sarileru Neekevvaru, Vijayashanthi decided to stay away from the film industry. The sources say that the makers of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Puspa approached Vijayashanthi to play the crucial role in the film but she rejected the offer.
The reason for rejecting Pushpa offer seems to be because of her interests inclining towards the politics. Though the details about her role in Pushpa are not known for now, but it is heard to be a role with a substance that was the main reason the makers approached Vijayshanthi.
Allu Arjun’ action drama Pushpa is being directed by Sukumar and is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Sukumar resumed the shooting in the thick forest of Maredumilli in Andhra Pradesh from 10th November.
The reports are also coming that the makers are roping Arya to play the antagonist. Earlier Vijay Sethupathi was on the board but as he walked away from Pushpa, the makers are trying to bring Arya in Allu Arjun starrer.
