Shocking run time of YatraYatra is one of the most awaited movie of South Indian film Industry, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 8th February. Recently the movie has completed the censor formalities and received U certificate from the regional censor board without any cut. Yatra’s run time is just about 126 minutes. This short  run time is giving shock to everyone.

 It is known news that Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan starrer NTR biopic’s first part NTR Kathanayakudu has turned out commercially flop at the box office. It’s run time was 2 hours 56 minutes. It seems that makers of Yatra has taken special care regarding its run time.

Yatra’s run time sounds good as it is neither too long nor too short. Just perfect. Adding length isn’t going to serve the purpose, anyway.

Yatra is an emotional drama which highlights some iconic moments from YSR’s 2004 Padayatra. Malayalam Superstar Mammootty is reprising the role of former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Yatra. The film is directed by  Mahi V Raghav and is jointly produced by  Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under 70mm Entertainments banner.  Apart from Mammootty, Yatra has other stars like Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya, Posani and Rao Ramesh in key roles.

After two decades, Mammooty is making his comeback in Tollywood with Yatra. He  was last seen in Railway Coolie which was directed by veteran filmmaker Kodi Ramakrishna and  was  released in 1998.

Suhasini Mani Ratnam is playing the then Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy and Rao Ramesh will be seen in the role of K.V.P.Ramachandra Rao who was a very close associate of YS Rajasekhara Reddy.  Versatile actor Jagapathi Babu is essaying the role of  YSR’s father YS Raja Reddy in Yatra, anchor turned Anasuya Bharadwaj is playing the role of a politician from the Kurnool district.
