Yesterday on the occasion of Shriya Saran’ birthday the makers of upcoming film Gamanam unveiled the first look poster which received the decent response by the movie lovers. The upcoming film Gamanam is a multilingual drama which will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Shirya Saran attended an interview recently and spoke about this upcoming project Gamanam in which she is essaying the role of a mute girl.
Gautamiputra Satakarni fame Shriya Saran said, “I have seen playing the glamorous roles all through my career, so I was not sure if she would be the right fit for such a de glam role. But now I am confident on this project. I play a mute village girl in the film. It’s a very raw and earthy character. I really enjoyed playing it. It’s a woman-centric role by a lady director. I can’t wait for the movie lovers to see me in this avatar.”
The first look poster of Gamanam features Shriya Saran in a saree, with a bottu on her forehead. The poster was launched by director Krish who wished the team all the best for the film.
The film Gamanam also has Nithya Menen, Shiva Kandukuri and Priyanka Jawalkar in the lead roles.
