After a gap, Shriya Saran is making her comeback in South Indian film Industry with an upcoming film Gamanam. Shriya Saran is also the part of SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture RRR which has Jr NTR, Olivia Morris, Alia Bhatt and Ram Charan in the lead role.
Just before the lockdown in the month of March, Shriya Saran had wrapped us shoot for SS Rajamouli’s much hyped multilingual drama RRR, in which she is playing a cameo. Recently Shriya Saran interacted with media and made comments on Rajamouli and RRR.
Shriya Saran said, “Although it’s a cameo appearance in RRR, it felt great to work with SS Rajamouli again after the movie Chatrapathi which was released in 2005. Rajamouli has a grand vision and he is trying something very different. Just being on the sets of upcoming film RRR made me feel like I was part of something very special. I hope this Coronavirus pandemic is over soon so that they can wrap up the shoot and release this much awaited movie RRR.”
According to the latest buzz, Shriya Saran has also been roped in Nithiin starrer upcoming thriller drama Andhadhun remake. When Shriya was asked about it, to which she replied, “Yes, I was approached for the role and there were some talks that took place too but nothing has been finalized regarding this project yet.”
