Director Gopichand Malineni who recently scored a massive hit with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer action drama Krack, is all set to work with Nandamuri Balakrishna for an upcoming untitled project. He is currently busy in the research for his next film which will also be based on true incidents like his previous one.
Few weeks ago, Gopichand Malineni took to social media to reveal that he headed to an old library in Vetapalem for the research for his upcoming directorial venture. The reports are coming that upcoming untitled drama will have its formal launch in the second half of this year, after Balakrishna wraps up his ongoing project Akhanda. It is being heard that recently Gopichand Malineni approached the star heroines Shruti Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh to play the female leads in Balakrishna starrer but they rejected the offer.
Shruti Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh turned down the offer citing unavailability of dates. Currently Shruti Haasan is busy with Prabhas starrer action drama Salaar and she also has couple of Tamil and Hindi projects.
On the otherside, Rakul Preet Sing also has a couple of projects in Bollywood. So both Shruti Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh said no to Gopichand Malineni for Balakrishna’ film.
The upcoming film which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers production will have two actresses.
