Shruti Haasan, the daughter of multitalented actor Kamal Haasan and Sarika, spilled the beans on how she was trolled for her looks. Recently during the media interaction, South actress Shruti Haasan opened up on how some people could not understand her gothic fashion style.
Vakeel Saab actress said, “When I took a break from the films for a while and started focusing on my music, and writing stories in London, I decided to go back to the same. Some people did not understand it and said ‘she looks like a vampire, horror/chudail’. I used to be like its okay you can call it what ever you want. You can keep saying me horror, that is my aesthetic and it makes me feel powerful. Now the troller gave up.”
Shruti Haasan added that she never lets all these negative comments bother her. After the two years break from the films, she made her come back with Yaara which was released in 2020. In 2021, she acted in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
Currently she is busy in Pan India film Salaar, in which she is sharing the screen space with Young Rebel star Prabhas under the direction of Prashanth Neel. She will also be seen in Balakrishna and Gopichand film #NBK107.
