The actor played the role of antagonist in Shankar’ directorial venture 2.0 in which Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth played the lead role. Yesterday Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account and expressed his disappointment about the “needless controversy” surrounding his citizenship, nationality and his Canadian passport. On the other-side, actor Siddharth has taken a dig at Akshay Kumar over his “non-political” interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After getting trolled for not casting his vote in Mumbai, Akshay Kumar issued a statement over his citizenship. He accepted that he is a Canadian citizen. Before that Akshay Kumar was in the news headlines for his “candid and completely non-political” conversation with India’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Siddharth has taken a sly dig at Akshay Kumar and tagged President Of the United States of America, Donald Trump and requested him to give him a chance to conduct a similar apolitical interview. Siddharth wrote on the wall of his Twitter, “Hey @realDonaldTrump since you’re getting ready to be re-elected soon, might I suggest an interview with me during your elections? I have crucial questions about how you eat fruit, your sleep and work habits and also your cute personality. I have an Indian passport. DM me please.”
