The officials of the company said that they have provided an option for snapchat users to choose to share their location with their close ones via Snap map feature since 2017. Currently, more than 250 million snapchat users have been connected with the app.
The customers are allowed to share their location on the spot, with only individual friends. But, there is no chance to share the details of real-time location with all friends at-a-time. Snapchat has also proposed a compulsory protocol for the users that the both persons on either side of the app must accept each other as friends on the Snapchat app before they start chatting with each other.
