Bangarraju, a sequel to 2016 blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana , is expected to go on the floor later this year. The upcoming film starring King Nagarjuna will be helmed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala. While Nagarjuna reprises the titular role from the prequel, Baahubali Ramya Krishnan will be seen as Bangarraju’s wife Satyabhama.
According to the latest buzz, the film Banrarraju also has Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. Bangarraju is presently in the pre-production phase. Kalyan Krishna and Officer actor Nagarjuna are busy with final draft and duo are also working on finalizing the lead cast. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers of Bangarraju are planning to bring Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha on the board to play the crucial role in Nagarjuna starrer.
The makers of Bangarraju have already initiated talks with Sonakshi Sinha and they are awaiting her response. If Sonakshi gives her nod for Nagarjuna starrer, it will be her straight Telugu film.
On the work front, Nagarjuna was last seen in investigative thriller drama Wild Dog, in which he played the role of NIA officer. Helmed by Solomon, and jointly backed by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy, the film was just average at the box office.
