It is known news that Sonali Bendre is suffering from Cancer and she is taking the treatment in New York. Recently Murari actress gave shock to everyone when she revealed that she is battling a fatal disease with great valor. Sarfarosh actress also responded to some of the heartfelt wishes from fellow b-towners. Now Sonali Bendre’s sister in law Shrishti Behl Arya informed through a text message that she is indeed staying strong.
Everyone knows Sonali Bendre is strong and will come out as a winner. Sonali Bendre and Shrishti Behl Arya are very close to each other. Recently in an interview Shrishti Behl Arya said, “Sonali Bendre is a fighter. She will definitely prevail. She has a lot of positive energy. She will be back. We are all very grateful for the outpouring of love.”
On 4th July Sonali Bendre wrote on her Twitter, “Sometimes when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with high-grade cancer that has metastasized, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.”
On the professional front, Sonali Bendre who has delivered several hit movies like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Sarfarosh, Kal Ho Na Ho, stepped down from judging a reality TV show India’s Best Dramebaaz. In Tollywood, she has also been the part of few movies like Khadgam, Palnati Brahmanayudu, Indra, Murari and Shankar Dada MBBS.
On the personal front, Sonali Bendre got married Goldie Behl in the year 2002 and the couple has a son named Ranveer (born in 2005).
In her recent social media post, Sonali Bendre had written that son Ranveer has emerged as her strength after she decided to explain her diagnosis to him. Sonali’s husband Goldie Behl also posted a photo of son Ranveer yesterday on his twitter, in which the 12-year-old is seen smiling in the picture and he is seen with a friend. Ranveer is in the US, where her mother Sonali Bendre is getting treated for her cancer.
