Sonu Sood is a popular name in the Indian film Industry and he is best known for playing the negative roles. Recently during the media interaction, Sounu Sood revealed that post the COVID pandemic, he has been offered positive roles and he is happy about it.

He opened up on how people doubted him for giving his nod for South Indian films and rejecting Hindi movies. Sonu Sood said: The South Film Industry saves me from not doing bad Hindi movies. Otherwise there comes a phase when you think you are  doing a film just for the sake of being seen in a big film. I have always been choosy with my scripts, whether I do Tamil, Telugu or Hindi films. South saves me from not doing bad Hindi films.

Sonu Sood added, “I have only been getting positive roles now. There was one film that I was shooting for that, and they had to change a lot of things in the script and re-shoot a few  sequences.”

On the work front, Sonu Sood will be next seen in Samrat Prithviraj which has Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The movie is all set for release on 3rd June. Samrat Prithviraj also marks the debut of Manushi Chillar.
