Yesterday the makers unveiled the first look poster of Nandmauri Balakrishna from the upcoming mythological epic drama ‘Narthanasala’, who is playing the role of Arjuna. ‘Narthanasala’, directed by Balakrishna, went to the floors in 2004. However, later the movie was stalled due to the sudden demise of Soundarya. Today evening the makers unveiled the first look poster of Soundarya as Draupadi from the movie Narthanasala, which is a dream project of Nandamuri Balakrishna.
While Balakrishna essays the three roles – Arjuna, Bruhannala, and Keechakudu, Sai Kumar plays the role of Duryodhanudu. Srihari is playing the role of Bheesma whereasUday Kiran is portraying Abhimanyu. Nandamuri Balakrishna’ directorial venture also has Asin as Uttara, Sarath Babu as Dharmaraju, Kota Srinivasa Rao as Virata Raju, and veteran director K Vishwanath in a crucial role.
Narthanasala is directed by Balakrishna and produced by Pusapati Lakshmipati Raju. After the death of Soundarya,Balakrishna had dropped the idea to revive Narthanasala. Now 17 minutes footage is going to be released on NBK Theatre through Shreyas ET, on 24th October on the eve of Dussehra.
In Tollywood, the actress Soundarya was last seen in the movie Shiva Shankar starring Mohan Babu, directed by Kapuganti Rajendra, which was released in 2014.
