
Malayalam actor Kollam Sudhi (39) died in a road accident at Kaipamangalam in Kerala at 4.30 this morning. Three others who were traveling with him. Mimicry artist Binu Adimalu, Ullas and Mahesh were seriously injured. The incident took place while returning from attending a program in Vatakara. Sudhi suffered severe head injuries in the accident. He was immediately rushed to Kodungallur Hospital. He died while receiving treatment there. Treatment for the other three is ongoing.
He was known for his roles in various TV shows and had also acted in movies. Police said the car in which Kollam Sudhi and others were travelling, collided with a truck at Kaipamangalam at 4.30am on Monday. It was a head on collision. All of them were taken to the hospital but Sudhi lost his life.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled Sudhi’s death. Sudhi entered the film industry in 2015. Sudhi, a famous mimicry artist, has acted in several films including Kottappanaiile Rithvik Roshan, Kuttanadan Marappappa. As soon as the news of Sudhi’s death came to light, tragedy struck the Malayalam film industry. Many actors mourned his death. Actor Kalabhavan Shajohn shared a post on Instagram. Along with the late acror’s photograph, wrote, “To a dear friend Condolences.”
