On 5th August, the legendary playback Singer SP Balu was admitted to MGM Healthcare Hospital after he tested +ive for the coronavirus. For over a month, the singer was undergoing treatment and was on life support throughout.
SP Balu’ son SP Charan confirmed his father’s death while addressing the media outside the hospital’s gate. He revealed that his dad passed away at 01:04 pm.
