Playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who tested positive for the coronavirus on 5th August and was immediately hospitalized is currently in critical condition. According to the latest update, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit of MGM Healthcare, Chennai.
According to a health bulletin released by the hospital, SP Balasubramanyam’s health deteriorated and saw a sudden setback last night. The bulletin added that based on the advice of the expert medical team attending to him he has been moved to the intensive Care Unit (ICU) and he is on life support and his condition remains critical. The bulletin read: SP Balasubrahmanyam is currently under observation by the team of experts from critical care and his haemodynamic and clinical parameters are being closely monitored.
The playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam got himself admitted at the hospital on 5th August after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. He released a video from the hospital and revealed that he had mild symptoms.
In the video, the singer said that his fever had subsided and that he has cold now. He also claimed that he was alright except for cold and fever. He had said in the video, “Even the fever has subsided. In two days, I will be alright, discharged and back home.”
