In an ongoing budget session, three MLA’s of Telugu Desam Party was suspended by the speaker. The reason behind their suspension goes like this, during the question hour in assembly TDP MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu demanded the ruling party to grant the pension to SC, ST, BC women starting from 45 years of age saying this as the promise made by the Jagan during his election campaign.

In response to this, Panchayat Raj Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy said that there was no such promise made by him or his party during the elections. Jagan intervened in between and played the video of his speech during the elections as proof.

With this, TDP MLA’s requested the speaker for permission to show their video for which the speaker didn’t allow them and moved on to the next question.

This irked the TDP MLA’s to shout and yell in assembly. At last, Speaker suspended the three MLA’s Atchannaidu, Nimmala Ramanaidu and Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary of TDP.
