The first female superstar of Bollywood Sridevi’s death is a shocking news for the entire nation, people are offering their condolence. She passed away in her hotel room in the Jumeirah Emirates Towers late on Saturday, leaving fans, family and friends stunned.
The Dubai Media Office said on Tuesday that the investigation into Sridevi’s death was complete, upon which her body will now be handed over to her family.
On Monday, her death certificate was released, which stated the actress died due to ‘accidental drowning’. The traces of alcohol were also found in the blood samples of Sridevi. According to the report, under the influence of alcohol, she lost her balance and fell into the hotel bathtub filled with water after losing consciousness, following which she drowned.
The Dubai Police had also recorded the statement of Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor.
Her body has been handed over to the family after the embalming procedure. Reports claim that her remains will reach India on Tuesday night.
