The social message oriented movie Srimanthudu is helmed by Koratala Siva and jointly bankrolled by Y Naveen, Y Ravi Shankar and C V Mohan under their banner Mythri Movie Makers. Mahesh Babu co-produced Srimanthudu under his banner G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Apart from the lead pair, the film Srimanthudu also has Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj, Mukesh Rishi, Sukanya and Harish Uthaman appear in supporting roles.
Srimanthudu is all about the story of a young man who inherits a business empire from his father. When he comes to know about his dad ancestral roots in a remote village Devarakota, Harsha Vardhan adopts the village and tries to improve the standard of living of the village people. Srimanthudu was released in 2015 and grossed nearly Rs 2.0 billion globally.
