Srinivasa Kalyanam Collections: Srinivasa Kalyanam starring Nithiin and Raashi Khanna, which has hit the theaters today on 9th August 2018, received positive response by the movie lovers and critics from everywhere. The family entertainer Srinivasa Kalyanam has failed to beat the collection records of Nithiin’s films A…Aa and Chal Mohan Ranga (CMR), but it has crushed the record of Lie. According to the traders report, Srinivasa Kalyanam has collected $56,189 from 101 locations from its premiers. This number is expected to increase when the final figures are revealed by the distributors. On the otherside, Nithiin’s A..Aa earned 281K, Chal Mohan Ranga collected 140K and Lie minted 55K from its premier.
Nithiin starrer LIE (Love Intelligence Enmity), directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara under their 14 Reels Entertainment, was released last year in the month of August, in which Megha Akash played the female lead role.
The trade analyst Jeevi wrote on the wall of Twitter, “SrinivasaKalyanam USA hourly gross by midnight for premieres is $56,189 from 101 locations. Nithin earlier highest premier grosses A aa – 281k Chal Mohan Ranga – 140k Lie – 55k.”
Showtime Cinemas acquired Srinivasa Kalyanam rights for a whopping price of Rs 3.40 Cr and released it in 130 screens across the US. The distributors also held its premieres on Wednesday.
Srinivasa Kalyanam is directed by Vegesna Satish of Shatamanam Bhavati fame, and produced by Dil Raju, under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations whereas the film has the music by Mickey J Meyer. Victory Venkatesh has given voice-over for the movie.
