Mahesh Babu and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Dookudu has completed a decade of release today, 23rd September and fans cannot keep calm. It was helmed by director Srinu Vaitla ten years ago. They again worked together for the  Aagadu which was released in 2014 but unfortunately, it was a flop at the box office.

To celebrate a decade of Dookudu, fans have erected huge posters and cutouts outside a few cinema halls in Hyderabad city. Now, the reports are coming that once again Srinu Vaitla and Mahesh Babu are going to collaborate for a project. Recently there was a strong buzz in the film industry that Srinu Vaitla is planning for Dookudu sequel.

During an interview, Srinu Vaitla revealed, “I am not planning to make a sequel for Dookudu but wants to do a  film with Mahesh.” According to the Director, this time he wants a bigger project with Maharshi star.

On the otherside, Dookudu is getting re-released as special shows in various areas. A special show is planned in Bengaluru as well. Dookudu also has special shows in theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  The family drama revolves around a son and how he avenges his father’s foes.  The movie also had Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, MS Narayana and Nassar, among others, in the crucial roles.
