King Nagarjuna has been showing his interest to maintain low profile these days. It has been a long time since Nagarjuna scored a super hit. His last release Manmadhudu 2 was a disaster and he has to face severe trolls for accepting such a film. Post Manmadhudu 2, Nag has taken much time to confirm his next project.
He has played a small role in Bollywood’s Brahmastra which has Ranbir Kapoor in lead role. He has finished his part long back but release got postponed due to corona pandemic. On the other hand, He is playing lead role in the movie Wild Dog which is being directed by Solomon. A foreign schedule needs to be canned. But due to current situations it will take more time than anticipated.
Nagarjuna has also planned to start his next project Bangarraju in the direction of Kalyan Krishna which is a prequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana. Due to uncertainities in release dates, Bangarraju might not be launched this year.
Nagarjuna has reduced working in movies deliberately. Probably he is concentrating more on his son Akhil’s career who has no hit from the three movies he acted. We have to wait and see for few more months to get a clear picture.
