Ever since Nag Ashwin announced his next with young rebel star Prabhas, everyone has been curious to know the details regarding this upcoming project. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Nag Ashwin is planning to rope Deepika Padukone in his upcoming directorial venture which has Prabhas in the lead role.
The sources say that Mahanati director Nag Ashwin is keen to rope Bollywood heroines, especially the Piku actress. The reports are coming that Nag Ashwin was considering Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra for the film.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Chhapaak which was released on 10th January. The movie, on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, was directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Deepika Padukone and Meghna Gulzar in collaboration with Fox Star Studios. Deepika Padukone is well known face for South Indian people as she made her acting debut with the Kannada film Aishwarya. and later made her Tamil debut with Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan.
Coming on Prabhas starrer, the upcoming untitled film will be bankrolled by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Apparently, Ashwini Dutt had first narrated the film to Chiranjeevi. But he recommended Baahubali and Sahoo star Prabhas.
