Director Karuna Kumar came in limelight after delivering the critically-acclaimed flick Palasa 1978. The movie received a lot of applause for a strong storyline and crisp editing. Though Palasa 1978 was Karuna Kumar’ debut movie, but he was praised for his directorial skills. Recently during the media interaction, Karun Kumar revealed that he is all set to work with Sudheer Babu for a thriller film, which is based on a bank robbery.
Karuna Kumar also said, “I was approached by nearly 15 producers to do a film soon after the lockdown. Currently I have five scripts in my hand and because of the hectic schedule and dates unavailability i put the remaining movies on hold.”
Recently it was heard that Karuna Kumar is going to direct a movie of Dr Rajasekhar. When the director was asked about the same, to which he replied, “Yes, I have plans to do a film with Dr Rajasekhar but the film rights have not been acquired yet. We are planning to remake of superhit Malayali film. Jeevitha is also showing interest in the film”.
Apart from this, Karuna Kumar has confirmed doing a film with Sudheer Babu, which is a bank robbery thriller.
Palasa director is also in the talk with Anil Sunkara, Mega Producer Allu Arvind’ Geetha arts and Sithara entertainments for the movies.
