Rangasthalam fame director Sukumar opened up about the horrific gang-rape and murder of Disha. Footage of CCTV cameras at different points also helped the cop. Footage of factory on the path taken by the criminals showed two of them riding the victim’s bike. They were later identified as Jollu Shiva and Jollu Navin. The investigators also found from CCTV that the lorry of the accused was parked at the road-side spot near toll plaza for six to seven hours. From the registration number of the truck seen in the CCTV footage helped the police zeroing in on its owner who led the cops to the main accused driver Mohammad Arif. On 29th November, the cop arrested four truck drivers and cleaners for the gruesome crime. Number of celebrities from the film industry have already reacted on Disha’ murder care and now Sukumar has expressed his deepest regret for being a male in this society. 1: Nenokkadine director Sukumar said, “ Please don’t trust on Men. We men are animals.”
Nannaku Prematho fame Sukumar added, “Disha’ rape and murder incident has left everyone heartbroken. Few people are saying that she should have dialed 100 instead of seeking the help of stranger on that night. But after listening to Disha’ last phone call, I thought she believed that those four men were really trying to help her. I urge every woman to never trust a man. Please don’t trust us. The men are animals. Criminals are born within the men and we are all responsible for it.”
On the other side, Telangana Chief Minister KCR instructed setting up of a fast-track court for expeditious trial in the case. He also assured all necessary help to the victim’s family.
On the work front, Sukumar is currently busy in the pre production work of his upcoming untitled directorial venture which has Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Rashmik Mandanna in the lead role.
