Sankranthi season turned out to be the most lucrative one in terms of films revenue. Almost 350 Cr generated for this season with Ala Vaikunthapuramulo and Sarileru Neekevvaru being the major money spinners. With Sankranthi season wrapped up, Tollywood is now concentrating on next lucrative season, Summer.
As per the latest reports, as many as dozen films are targeting Summer release.
Keerthy Suresh’s Miss India is being planned for March 6th release, however official confirmation is awaited. Makers of Nani’s next V have confirmed that their movie will hit the screens on March 25th as Ugadi special. Sharwanand’s upcoming film Sreekaram is looking for April 2nd release. However there might be a change in this release date. Panja Vaishnav Tej’s debut movie Uppena is also looking for April 2nd release.
Energetic Star Ram who scored block buster with Ismart Shankar is now playing lead role in the movie Red which has locked its release date on April 9th on the day of shoot start itself. Naga Chaitanya – Sekhar Kammula’s movie Love Story will hit the screens on April 17th. Though Sai Tej’s Solo Bratuke So Better initially scheduled for May 1st release is now looking for April 24th release.
Victory Venkatesh’s Naarappa which has started its shooting recently might release on May 1st. Raviteja’s cop drama Krack will release on May 8th. Makers have revealed this news few days back. Pawan Kalyan Pink remake and Nagarjuna’s upcoming movie Wild Dog will also release in the month of May.
