Sunil made his comeback as a comedian with Young Tiger Jr NTR starrer action drama ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ and later he was seen in Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Chitralahari and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. After a gap, once again Sunil has signed a movie in which he will be seen playing the lead role.
According to the latest update, Sunil will play the lead role in an upcoming film titled Vedantham Raghavaiah, which will be bankrolled by 14 Reels Plus. Harish Shankar is providing the script. He has penned the story and is going to present it.

Currently Sunil is busy in his ongoing project colour photo in which he is essaying the antagonist role of Ramaraju, a menacing cop. Touted to be a romantic entertainer drama set against a rustic backdrop, the film is romantic tale of a dark skinned guy and a fair girl. The film Colour Photo has Suhas and Chandini Chowdary in lead roles, which is directed by debutante Sandeep Raj whereas it has the music by MM Keeravani’ son Kala Bhairava.
