Sunny Leone biopic: Sikh demand removal of KaurSunny Leone biopic, the web series, Karenjit Kaur the untold story of Sunny Leone, has left the Sikh community fuming even before the release. The Sikh leaders are demanding the removal of  word ‘Kaur’ from the title. Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGOC) additional secretary and Spokesperson Daljit Singh Bedi has objected to the suffix Kaur which is being used in the upcoming web series Karenjit Kaur the untold story of Sunny Leone.

Sunny Leone biopic- the web series will be premiered on Zee5 on 16th July. According to Diljit Singh Bedi said  that as Sunny Leone did not follow the teachings of Sikh gurus. So she had no rights to use the word Kaur in the title. Neither the web series makers nor Sunny Leone herself have reacted to the objections raised by Diljit Singh Bedi. The real name of Sunny Leone is Karenjit Kaur and her parents were a Sikh.

On 14th July, Sunny Leone wrote on her Twitter, “The next chapter of my life starts in a few days! Are you ready to take the journey with me through my eyes! #guiltyofdoingitmyway @ZEE5India @namahpictures @freshlimefilms @adidatt #karenjitkaur”

Sunny Leone became popular in India when she entered the controversial reality show Bigg Boss as a  contestant in 2011. Later she  made her Bollywood debut with Jism 2, which was released in 2012.

 Now Sunny Leone is married to Daniel Weber and the couple has three children. Last year they  adopted a girl child, Nisha and this year in the month of March 2018, they extended their family by including two more sons- Noah and Asher, via surrogacy.

Today Sunny Leone is celebrating Nisha’s gotcha anniversary. She wrote on Instagram, “One year ago today our lives changed when we brought you home with us! Today is your 1year “gotcha” anniversary and I can’t believe it’s only been one year because I feel I have known you a lifetime. You are a part of my heart and soul and the most beautiful baby girl in the world! I love you very much Nisha Kaur Weber!!”
