Surabhi who has been the part of several Telugu and Tamil movie, is now coming up with a romantic drama Sashi. She has always been choosy about her scripts. Surabhi will next be seen in the romantic drama, Sashi, opposite Aadi Saikumar, which is helmed by debutant Srinivas Naidu Nadikatla, and is produced by Varma. Sashi is set in Vizag. The makers have already released the first look poster on the occasion of Aadi’ birthday. Apart from the lead pair, the film Sashi also has Vennela Kishore, Tulasi, Jaya Prakash, Rajeev Kanakala, Ajay, Viva Harsha, and Sudarshan in the supporting roles. When Surabhi was asked about her upcoming film Sashi, to which she replied, “Sashi is a campus-based love story, with the campus episodes in the movie shown as flashback sequences. I am playing the role of a girl who is smart enough to know exactly how to get things done.”
Surabhi also shared her experience on the sets and revealed that the scenes shot in the campus, canteen, classroom, bus, etc., brought back memories of her college life.
Surabhi also revealed that upcoming film Sashi predominantly talks about relationships and how the lead couple reunite towards the end of the story amid misunderstandings and apprehensions.
Surabhi and Aadi Sai Kumar starrer Sashi has music composed by Arun Chiluveru whereas the cinematography is handled by Amarnath Bommireddy.
When Surabhi was asked about her web series for which she was approached, Voter actress said, “I am yet to sign the web series.”
