The country India reported 94,052 new Coronavirus cases and 6,148 new deaths today. India has so far reported a total of 2,91,83,121 Covid-19 cases and 3,59,676 deaths. The State Tamil Nadu reported 17,321 infections, followed by Kerala (16,204) Maharashtra (10,989) and Karnataka (10,959). Several celebrities from the film industry are coming forward for the help of people who are in need.

Now according to the latest report, Tamil star Suriya donated Rs 12.5 lakhs to one of his fan clubs.
Singham star Suriya asked to figure out the members who are struggling financially and he donated Rs 5000 to almost 250 members of the fanclub and deposited the money directly to their accounts. Suriya’ brother Karthi has also carried out a similar activity for his fans.
On the work front, Suriya will be seen playing the lead role in upcoming film #Suriya40 which is helmed by Pandiraj. Suriya also has Gautham Menon’s anthology Navarasa and soon he will start shooting for Vaadi Vasal under the direction of acclaimed filmmaker Vetri Maaran.
