Tamil star Suriya cast his vote as an Oscar committee member at 95th Academy Awards. Suriya himself confirmed the same by sharing a pic as he announced that he has finished voting for the Oscars. Now Suriya is the first Tamil actor invited to be a member of Oscar committee.
The award show Oscars 2023 is all set to be held on 12th March at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. In India, prestigious award event will be broadcast early morning of 13th March. SS Rajamouli’s RRR song Naatu Naatu featuring Young tiger Jr NTR and Mega power star Ram Charan is one of the nominated entry at Oscars this time. All That Breathes has been nominated for documentary feature film and the Tamil documentary, The Elephant Whisperers has been nominated in best documentary Short film category.
Meanwhile, Suriya Shivakumar has now given his vote at The Academy Award too. Suriya Shivakumar flew on his own with his team to Mumbai without charging a penny. In a new Twitter post, Singham star mentioned that he has finished voting for Oscars 2023. “Voting done! #Oscars95 @TheAcademy.”
Jimmy Kimmel is going to host Oscars 2023 after 2018. Oscars 2023 went hostless for several years after Kimmel’s last outing.
