Kollywood actor and producer Suriya paid last respects to Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar at his memorial in Bengaluru. A video of Suriya crying at Puneeth Rajkumar’ memorial is going viral on the social media. During the media interaction, Suriya conveyed his condolences to Shiva Rajkumar, the elder brother of Puneeth, his family members and fans. Suriya also spoke about his friendship with Puneeth. Suriya added, “I am still not able to accept what has happened. My family and Shiva Rajkumar’ family are very fond of each other. I and Puneeth first met when our mothers were pregnant. My mother was four months pregnant with me, whereas Puneeth’s mother was 7 months pregnant with him. “
It is known that Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on 29th October due to the heart attack.
Suriya, along with Rajasekar Pandian and SR Prabhu, flew to Bengaluru to pay tributes to Puneeth Rajkumar and later he met the family members of late actor. He then visited the Kanteerava Studios with Shiva Rajkumar where he paid tribute to the late actor. A video shows Suriya crying at his memorial.
Suriya and Puneeth Rajkumar knew each other even before they were born! Their families were in close touch. Suriya also said that late Puneeth would live in their hearts forever.
