Suriya and director Bala are going to work together for an upcoming film after 20 years. The actor and filmmaker have collaborated earlier on memorable Tamil movies like ‘Nandha’ and ‘Pithamagan’. While the film was announced recently, there are now reports that National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh has been approached for the female lead and she will be seen sharing the screen space with Suriya. The upcoming yet to be titled film will be produced by Suriya under the banner of 2D Entertainment.
The sources say that though the talk has been initiated but nothing is yet finalized. If Keerthy Suresh gives her green signal, the upcoming film of her with Suriya will mark her second collaboration after the 2018 Tamil film, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam and first time with director Bala.
The movie lovers have applauded the chemistry of Suriya and Mahanati girl in Thaanaa Serndha Kootam and once again the movie lovers are hoping the same magic on the screen.
It was Bala who gave Tamil actor Suriya his first major break with Nandha. The 2001 crime drama established Suriya, who had been struggling to find a foothold in Kollywood until then. Suriya also credits Bala for shaping his acting process during the early days of his career in the film industry. The duo again worked on Pithamagan, which also starred Vikram.
