Suryanagari Express accident : 11 coaches of the Suryanagari Express derailed in the early hours of Monday near Pali in Rajasthan. The accident took place between the Rajkiawas-Bomdara section of the Jodhpur division at 3:27 am. This train was going to Jodhpur from the Bandra Terminus. According to the North Western Railway, no casualty has been reported yet . As soon as the information about this accident was received, the Jodhpur division of the North Western Railway sent an accident relief train for the relief and rescue. Chief Public Relations Officer said that the Higher officials are expected to reach the spot soon. General Manager, North Western Railway and other higher officials are monitoring the situation from the control room at the Jaipur headquarters.
No death has been reported in this Suryanagari Express accident yet. Preparations are being made to evacuate the passengers present in the train and send them to their place via bus.
Captain Shashi Kiran, CPRO, North Western Railway said that the bus arrangements have been made to take the affected passengers to their destination. Apart from this, Railways has also issued a helpline number from which relatives can collect information.
As soon as the news of the train accident was received, the local people and the administration became active. The injured people were taken to the hospital through an ambulance.
