When Bihar police filed a complaint on Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty over Sushant Singh Rajout’ suicide  case, she cleverly approached the supreme court for interim protection and also for the transfer of the case from Bihar to Mumbai. Now according to the latest update, the supreme court has rejected her plea for protection. It means Bihar police can arrest Rhea Chakraborty or can also question her for further investigation.

On 29th july, 2020, a petition was filed by Rhea Chakraborty in the Supreme Court seeking transfer of investigation in the death case to Mumbai. Maneshinde filed the plea on Rhea Chakraborty’s behalf. This came a day after an FIR was filed by Sushant’ father in Patna.

An FIR had been registered against Rhea Chakraborty at Rajiv Nagar police station in Patna under various sections, including abetment to suicide on the complaint of  Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishor Singh.

Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty had demanded CBI probe in the Sushant’ case. Kedarnath actor was found dead in his Mumbai residence on 14th June.

The Centre informed the Supreme Court that it has agreed to accept Bihar government’s recommendation to let the CBI probe the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. With the Centre confirming about CBI probe, the Supreme Court has now asked all the parties including Sushant’s father KK Singh, Rhea Chakraborthy,  and Mumbai Police as well as Maharashtra Govt to file their responses in 3 days.
