Opposition TDP members in AP Assembly have been suspended once again. Speaker Tammineni Sitaram announced that all 11 people are suspended for one day. Minister Buggana initially proposed to suspend TDP members. Achchennaidu, Bendalam Ashok, Ganababu, Velagupudi, Manthena Ramaraju, Adireddy Bhavani, Chinarajappa, Sambasivarao, Gottipati Ravikumar, Balaveeranjaneya, Gadde Rammohan were suggested to be suspended by the speaker and the Speaker stated that they are being suspended for one day. This is the fifth time in a row that TDP members have been suspended.
When Question Hour started, TDP members moved an adjournment motion. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy insisted on a discussion on his visit to Delhi. However, Legislative Affairs Minister Buggana clarified that the proposal of TDP members is against the traditions of Assembly. He expressed anger that they are trying to waste the meeting. Earlier YCP members demanded to discuss Chandrababu Naidu’ visits to Delhi. With this, chaos started in the assembly.
TDP members surrounded the speaker’s podium and expressed their protest. After that, some of the TDP members went to the speaker’s chair and protested by tearing the copies of their agenda. With this, the Speaker asked the House to take some decision on this matter. Meanwhile, Minister Buggana once again advised the TDP members that it is not appropriate to waste the time of assembly.
The TDP members, insisted on telling the reason for the Chief Minister’s visit to Delhi. Self-interest? For the benefit of the state? They continued their protest. As the chaos continued in the House, the Minister proposed to suspend the TDP members and the Speaker gave his seal of approval.
