 Plus Points:

·         Performance

·         Pre interval

·         Twists

·         Surrogacy angle

 Minus Points:

·         Love track between lead pair

·         Predictable story

·         Editing

·         Direction

Performance: Bellamkonda Ganesh, the son of the noted producer Bellamkonda Suesh made his debut in Tollywood with this film Swathimuthyam. Coming on his performance, he looks an innocent guy and perfectly fits the role of Swathimuthyam. Varsha Bollamma performs in a natural manner and she looks cute on the screen. Rao Ramesh is the role of Bellamkonda Ganesh’s father is fine.  Naresh as the father of Varsha Bollamma is ok. Vennela Kishore, Naresh, Satish Saripalli, Pammi Sai, Pragati, Surekha Vani,  Divya Sripada, Goparaju Ramana, Harshavardhan, Sunaina, Sivannarayana and rest of the cast perform accordingly.

Technical: The story of SwathiMuthyam is predictable.  The music by Mahati Swara Sagar is good.  Though the songs are good but they acted as speed breakers. Suryaa’ cinematography showed the locations of Pithapuram in a natural manner. Editing of Navin Nooli is just ok and the production values are good.  The dialogues are hilarious.

Analysis: The second half of the film SwathiMuthyam is impressive as the surrogacy angle is brought in with a neat screenplay. The   fun filled solid second half, and crisp runtime are the plus points of the film. The love track of the lead pair lacks the punch. Coming on the work of director Lakshman K Krishna, he  is good with his comedy.
