T20 World Cup Final 2022 – England have lifted the trophy after beating Pakistan in the T20 World Cup Final 2022.
England won the toss and decided to field first in the T20 World Cup final against the Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday by 5 wickets. Both teams were unchanged from their semi-finals. Pakistan registered 137 in their quota of the 20 overs.
England wins the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 title and become the undisputed champions winning both the odi and t20 world cup in succession.
Pakistan scored 137/8 in 20 overs after the England won the toss and asked Babar Azam and Co to bat 1st. Adil Rashid bowled superbly to pick two wickets for 22 runs in the 4 overs which included 1 maiden. England bowled brilliantly in the death overs, ensuring Pakistan did not go past 150 run mark.
England have dethroned Australia who won the title last year.
