Tabu, the versatile actress is currently busy in Mira Nair’ A Suitable boy, where she is playing the role of a prostitute. The first look poster of A Suitable boy is out that features the look of Tabu and Ishaan Khatter. A Suitable Boy is a screen adaptation of Vikram Seth’s bestselling novel with the same title. This 6-part TV Series will be aired by BBC One.
Ishaan Khatter took to his microblogging page to unveil the first look poster of his upcoming project A Suitable Boy that features him along with Tabu sitting on a swing.
A Suitable Boy is all about the story of a Rebellious Son Maan Kapoor (played by Ishaan Khatter) of a Politician Mahesh Kapoor (essayed by Ram Kapoor) getting attracted to a beautiful Prostitute Saaeda Bai (Tabu).
The adaptation, which is being helmed by Mira Nair, has a screenplay by Andrew Davis and is going to be a BBC-backed series that consists of six one hour episodes. Apart from Tabu and Ishaan Khatter, the series A Suitable Boy also has Rasika Duggal, Vivaan Shah, Tanya Maniktala and Shefali Shah in key roles.
This is the first time, ‘Dhadak’ fame Ishaan Khatter sports a moustache in his career. Tabu as is seen as a prostitute in a traditional avatar in the first look poster of A Suitable Boy.
In the past, Tabu has played Prostitute in ‘Chandini Bar’ and ‘Pandurangadu’. Now once again, Tabu is essaying the role of Prostitute in his series A Suitable Boy.
On the other side, Tabu is also working with Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer upcoming romantic and family entertainer drama Ala Vaimunthapuramuloo, which is being helmed by Trivikram Srinivas. Tabu is playing the role of Allu Arjun’ mom in this film, which will be released on the occasion of Sankranthi 2020. Apart from them, Ala Vaimunthapuramuloo also has Sushanth, Navdeep, Jayaram, Sathyaraj, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and Sunil in the supporting roles.
