Recently during a conversation, Taiwan’s Foreign Minister Joseph Wu, revealed that Indian movies are extremely popular in Taiwan. Joseph Wu also spoke about SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus Baahubali starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishna, Tamannah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty.
When Joseph Wu was asked if his country watches Bollywood films, to which he replied, “Every time I see ‘Baahubali’ movie on Television, I tell my wife not to turn the channel, because I want to finish watching Baahubali again. I don’t know how many times I have watched this film Bahaubali. It is so fun to watch an Indian films.”
Joseph Wu also revealed that Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan starrer sport based drama ‘Dangal’ and late actor Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Hindi Medium ‘ are also very popular in Taiwan.
According to the latest update, Prabhas starrer ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ is slated for a re-release in the USA on 23rd October. The historic and war drama Baahubali 2 that raked in the big bucks with it first hit theatres abroad back in the year 2017, will be screened across a handful of theatres in the USA. Baahubali 2 is the current highest grossing Indian film at the US box-office.
