Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said that she is being criticized on social media. The Tamilisai said that she is moving forward despite these criticisms. She participated in the Women’s Day program which was organized at Raj Bhavan on Monday. Tamilisai Soundararajan indirectly criticized the BRS by saying that those who threw stones at the women were being garlanded. Tamilisai asked him what kind of message he wanted to convey by doing this. She said that she is giving awards and rewards without taking action against those who insulted her.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said that invitations have been sent to all women representatives of the state for this event. She thanked all those who came to the event. Tamilisai reminded that Praja Darbhar was organized for women who are in trouble in the state. On this occasion, the Governor mentioned that more than a thousand petitions were received in. Governor said that efforts are being made to solve these problems. She said that he will continue to work for women.
It is known that Telangana government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to take steps to approve 10 pending bills. The Supreme Court is likely to hear the petition after Holi holidays.
